Chance to Dance is a day when all kinds of people can experience all kinds of dance.

Chance to Dance is part of NZ Dance Week 2019. It will be held on 27 April 10am to 4pm in the Concert Chamber, plus a Dance-o-Mat Showcase at 12pm in Aotea Square. A day of free dance classes at an introductory level for anyone and everyone to participate.

Saturday 27 April, Concert Chamber, Auckland Town Hall:             

  • 10am - Pacific Dance taught by Charlene Tedrow

  • 11am - Hip Hop Groove taught by Richie Cesan                        

  • 12pm - Dance-o-Mat Showcase – Out in Aotea Square / If wet in Concert Chamber

  • 12.35pm - Contemporary taught by Rebekkah Schoonbeek              

  • 1.35pm - Bollywood taught by Ella Kumar                      

  • 2.35pm - Latin taught by Sonia Hems

Come to the Concert Chamber to enrol 10 minutes before the start of class.  You can participate in as many classes as you like and no experience necessary!
